Steve Robbins, MPT
Steve brought his vision of what Physical Therapy should be to Olympia Physical Therapy and Industrial Rehabilitation after becoming partners with Bill in 2003.
Steve was born and raised in Lacey; he attended North Thurston High School and graduated in 1985. While at North Thurston, Steve played soccer and was named the Black Hills League MVP in 1985.
Steve continued his soccer career by playing at The Evergreen State College for 2 years. He then went on to obtain his Master’s of Physical Therapy from the University of the Puget Sound in 1992.
Steve enjoys giving back to the community that he was born and raised in by contracting with local schools to provide medical coverage to the North Thurston Public Schools with his employees.
He is still an avid soccer player, playing in various rec leagues and tournaments throughout the area. When not playing soccer, Steve and his wife Laurie enjoy spending time with their 8 children, watching them compete in different types of events and athletics.
William Linnenkohl, MPT
Bill founded Olympia Physical Therapy and Industrial Rehabilitation in 2002. Steve Robbins joined him as a partner in 2003.
Bill is a graduate of University of Puget Sound (UPS) with a B.S. in Biology and received his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from the U.S. Army/Baylor Physical therapy program at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas in 1977.
He has practiced Physical Therapy for nearly 40 years and presently specializes in Industrial Rehabilitation and performing Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) at our Tumwater Office.
He also has an extensive background in Orthopedic and Sports P.T. Bill was an NCAA Division II All-American linebacker for UPS in 1976 and is in the UPS Athletic Hall of Fame.
He attended Hoquiam High School and graduated in 1972 where he was a high school All-American football player and All-State shot putter and is also in the Hoquiam Alumni Hall of Fame.
He is a retired LTC in the Army Reserves and enjoys ocean fishing for salmon, halibut/ling cod, and tuna in his 24’ Armstrong boat. He lives in Olympia and has four grown children: Kyla, Brett, Alex and Jamie ages 26-33 and 3 grandchildren.
He is an avid Seahawk fan and an Oregon State Beaver fan where his son Alex was the starting center for OSU for 3 years and was All-Pac-12 his senior year.
Matthew DiDonato, DPT, CSCS
Manager- Hawk's Prairie Physical Therapy
Matt graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2014 from Puget Sound University after an undergraduate degree at Western Washington University.
While he has been a practicing Physical Therapist since then, the Olympia Physical Therapy and Industrial Rehabilitation group has been fortunate to call him one of our own for even longer. He specializes in post-op orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.
Having grown up as an Olympia native, Matt has seen the community grow and change over the years. He currently resides in the Tacoma area with his family and enjoys traveling and attempting to play what looks like golf.
Tracy Lloyd, PT
Tracy is one of our Physical Therapists at Olympia Physical Therapy and Industrial Rehabilitation.
She graduated from Washington State University (GO COUGS!) with a degree in general education and then moved on to pursue her degree in Physical Therapy at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
She started practicing in 1983 and throughout the years has attended several continuing education courses to further her knowledge making her a true asset to this team.
Tracy specializes in outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine.
In her spare time you can find Tracy outside in the sunshine with a good book, the occasional glass of wine, and rooting on her Cougars.
Abbie Foltz, DPT
Abbie recently moved to the PNW from the east coast. Originally from Ohio, she received her DPT degree from the University of St. Augustine in FL and moved to the Lacey area from North Carolina to continue the military lifestyle.
Abbie has a background in orthopedics and specializes in manual therapy techniques. She worked in an outpatient orthopedic clinic for almost 2 years in Charlotte, NC and worked as a home health physical therapist when she first moved out to WA.
She keeps the patient’s interests, hobbies and work related functions in mind when creating individualized rehab programs.
In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her boyfriend Mike and dog Phoebe. She enjoys cycling, hiking, rock climbing, running with her dog, and traveling.
She loves exploring new places and going on spontaneous adventures.
Vince Potts, AT, LAT
Work Hardening Director
Vince is a 1995 graduate of Biola University with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education. He received his National Athletic Trainers Association certification in 1998 and later that year started the Sports Medicine Program at Capital Medical Center and worked there until 2004.
During this time, most of his athletic training duties were at Capital High School but also was involved in consulting services with several local schools, including Elma, Tenino, Olympia, and Shelton.
Vince has been on staff at Olympia Physical Therapy and Industrial Rehabilitation since June of 2004. After a year he began working with our Industrial Program and in 2012, Vince became the Industrial Rehabilitation Coordinator.
In all of his spare time, he enjoys being outside and playing in God's great outdoors and helping his family and youth do the same.
Bill Gierach, MS, AT, LAT
Director - Northwest Sports Medicine Center
Bill Gierach is the director of Northwest Sports Medicine Center and the Head Athletic Trainer for the North Thurston Public Schools.
He graduated with his B.S. in Athletic Training from Concordia University Wisconsin in 2006 and went on to pursue his Master's in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at the University of Wisconsin.
This Fall marks his 13th year of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer, a career that has been highlighted by working with professional, D1 football, soccer, Olympic athletes, and most recently North Thurston High School.
Bill specializes in concussion research and education for the area high schools and the public in general.
Bill is the proud doggie-daddy to 3 crazy pups and a happy husband to the wonderful Kimberly. When he isn't doting on the dogs or Kimberly, Bill loves fishing on his boat or hunting in the hills of Western Washington.
Amethyst Shepherd, AT, LAT
Athletic Trainer - Timberline High School
Originally from the east coast, Amethyst, better known as Ame, received her degree in Athletic Training from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut in 2013.
By the end of summer 2013, she had moved to Idaho and begun her career as an Athletic Trainer with a physical therapy clinic in the mornings and high schools in the afternoons.
Her specialty lies in working with high school athletes and using advanced therapy techniques such as Kinesio-tape and ASTIM to treat in the clinic.
Since moving across the country, Ame enjoys exploring and adventuring all over the western U.S. just as much as spending the day reading at home.
Some of her favorite places to have traveled include Grand Tetons, Zion, and Big Sur. She also enjoys trying out new recipes on the staff at Hawk's Prairie, which makes her a vital member of our team.
Parker Henderson, MS, AT, LAT
Athletic Trainer - North Thurston High School
Parker is originally from Southern California, he received his degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training from San Diego State University in 2011.
While at SDSU, he worked as Certified Athletic Trainer primarily covering men’s soccer, baseball, and men’s and women’s tennis.
After leaving SDSU he provided Sport’s Medicine coverage to local high schools and worked in PT clinics.
Parker received his Master's online rom California University of Pennsylvania in Rehabilitation Science and Corrective Exercises Specialists. Parker specializes in working with the high school athlete, Kinesio-tape, PNF, and functional assessment.
Parker moved to Washington at the end of August 2016 to join Olympia Physical Therapy and Industrial Rehabilitation and North Thurston High School.
Since moving to Washington, Parker looks forward to exploring the outdoors by camping, hiking, fishing, and hunting.
Annie McGoldrick, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Annie has been a Physical Therapist Assistant for 18 years. She graduated from Green River Community College in Auburn, WA with a Physical Therapist Assistant degree.
She has worked at Yelm Physical Therapy and St. Peter's Hospital in their outpatient and inpatient Physical Therapy department before being employed here at Olympia Physical Therapy and Industrial Rehabilitation.
She has been with us for 9 years now and enjoys helping patients be successful with their rehab goals and meeting people from all walks of life.
In her spare time, she loves to participate in all kinds of outdoor recreation, animals and spending time with her boyfriend and his family.
She was born and raised in Southern California and loves to visit her big family there.
Jennifer Abbott, BS, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Jenn joined Hawk's Prairie Physical Therapy in 2015. She has over 10 years experience in the field.
Jenn received her B.S. in Biology from Saint Martins University and training as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Whatcom Community College in Bellingham.
While Jenn loves all types of post-op orthopedic rehabilitation there is a special place reserved in her heart for knees and shoulders.
Jenn has been with her husband Jon for nearly as long as she's been a Physical Therapist Assistant and her household is rounded out by her furry family featuring kitties, Fletcher and Frankie.
Having been playing soccer since before she could walk she enjoys hiking, kickboxing, and anything active.
Front Office Manager
Cherie is our front office manager and has been working in medical billing since 2003. She joined our team in 2006 and now helps run the front offices working with billing and customer service along with many other tasks.
Cherie enjoys her job plus the interactions with friends and acquaintance that it brings. They truly are what makes her smile & laugh every day.
In Cherie's spare time she likes camping with her husband and chasing around her granddaughter. She also enjoys activities like gardening and crafting.
Front Desk Staff- Olympia
Cherese has been a medical biller and worked in receptions since the 1980’s. Cherese has billed for ENT, Nephrology, Family Practice, Pediatrics, ER Physicians, and Ophthalmology.
She also billed for Dialysis Clinics, Hospitals in multiple states, and Rural Clinics.
Cherese is married with 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Her husband was in active duty Air Force for 27 years. She grew up in Washington and graduated from Elma High School.
Cherese has lived in California, Alaska, back to California and Texas, before moving back to Elma where she is planning to retire.
Chereses enjoys photography, camping, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She loves going to watch her granddaughter play Volleyball for the Raymond Seagulls and watching her niece compete in horse shows. Cherese is a Die Hard Seahawk fan.
Front Desk Staff- Hawk's Prairie
Stephanie is a longtime resident of the Tacoma area who has accrued over 10 years of front desk experience before coming to Hawk's Prairie Physical Therapy.
Since starting work in our Lacey location she has become our expert on insurance and authorization and always strives to provide the utmost in customer care.
When she isn't working she takes all the time she can to be around her friends and family and makes a tradition of being in the Puyallup state fair every year.
She continues to work on her bingo game and crafting projects but knows there is always room to improve.
